Press Brake Programmer / Operator

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator to join a well-established sub-contract engineering company in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in setting, operating, and editing programs on Amada Press Brakes.

Press Brake Operator

Location: SheffieldHourly Rate: Up to £16.00Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:30, Friday 08:00 – 14:30

 Key Responsibilities:

• Set, operate, and edit programs on Amada press brake machines
• Work on 2-meter and 3-meter bed machines
• Carry out step bending and form parts to tight tolerances
• Read and work from technical drawings
• Handle Hardox and other heavy-duty materials confidently
• Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout production

Requirements:

• Proven experience using Amada press brake machines
• Ability to set and edit CNC press brake programs (programming knowledge beneficial)
• Experience working with Hardox steel and other heavy materials
• Capable of step bending and producing components to tight tolerances
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures in a workshop environment
